Growing up between duty stations as a child, I know and have seen the sacrifice a family makes for a military members career. In 2003, I got into the mortgage industry and learned about the VA Home Loan Benefit. 100% financing, no money down, to own a piece of the country they've defended. Shortly after, I created a place for veterans to learn about their benefit for free called VA Loans Hawaii. I now have the privilege to teach free VA Home Loan Benefit seminars around the country. It is an honor and a privileged to help fellow veterans use their entitlement and own a piece of the country they defended.

Married to his wife Kandy in Hawaii in 2014, Mike is a father to three boys, each with his own distinct personality. He is a proud graduate of the Master of Business for Veterans program at USC, a unique master's program tailored exclusively for active military and Veterans. Mike's passion for teaching has led him to tutor kids in Math and English, create a YouTube channel dedicated to personal finance, and work as a financial coach helping others regain control of their lives. This dedication to education seamlessly transitioned into his role as a Branch Educator for VLG, where he is driven to make the home buying process as straightforward as possible for his clients. With a heart particularly attuned to children and Veterans, Mike brings both expertise and empathy to every interaction.
